Rachel Fields

Discovering & Recovering Artist

Rachel has a life-long fascination with the human heart, mind, and spirit, which has led her on many adventures, inner and outer - from multiple month-long silent meditation retreats to numerous multi-day solo wilderness fasts, from all-night fire rituals to living and studying in India for a year and a half. With over 25 years of personal and professional development experiences and her work as an individual and group psychotherapist, The Artist’s Way is where she turns when she wants to reconnect with meaning, wonder and joy.

Rachel has been a student of The Artist’s Way for almost 20 years. The first time she began the Artist’s Way on her own, she was surprised by the depth of the process. She has been passionately devoted to this process ever since.

With a love for community and her experience leading groups, Rachel knows first hand the importance of sharing our creative successes and struggles with others who also want to expand their creativity. There is so much power in discovering we are not alone while also gaining confidence from a supportive group of like-minded people.

Rachel will be facilitating this 12-week journey from her home in the mountains of Colorado, where she sings in the community choir, has friends over for painting nights, and fantasizes about filling her empty barn by adopting a pair of donkeys. Maggie, Jax and Mo, her beloved canine friends, will likely make a Zoom appearance at some point in the course.
